With a population of about 15,000 people, the beauty of Makarska lies in its nature: it is situated between the Biokovo Mountains and the Adriatic Sea. But landscapes are not the only thing worth seeing when renting a catamaran in Makarska. What to bring for your private Catamaran in Hvar

Now that you have decided to embark on one of the most amazing holidays ever, the next step is deciding what to pack. Because we know that packing for a cruise might be a little bit intimidating, we would like to give you some useful tips that will help you bring just what you need to make the best out of this incredible experience.

Charter a Catamaran in Makarska means spending most of your time at sea. And although visiting the city centre is a must, this does not mean that you should spend your money buying things you could have brought from home. Don’t need to worry about space and comfort, our catamarans are super spacious and will accommodate all your stuff.

Makarska town is the warmest town in Croatia. There is no need to pack a winter jacket, but we do recommend taking a raincoat that can also serve you like a warm jacket for an unpredictable chilly night.

And as Makarska is the warmest Croatian town and summers are hot and sunny, do not forget to bring sunscreen (+50 and waterproof), hats, and sunglasses. Re-apply the sunscreen every two hours and after going for a swim. We all love to sunbathe but please do it safely!

All our catamarans are equipped with modern kitchens to use as you please. So planning your cruise menu in advance will help you pack all the ingredients you need to prepare your favourite dishes. However, if cooking while on holiday is not your thing, renting a catamaran in Makarska gives you the possibility of hiring a chef to cook the most delicious local cuisine. You can also hire a professional captain to take you around the most interesting places.

If you are into water sports, make sure to advise our crew about your preferences as some of our catamarans come with snorkelling gear and fishing equipment.

Following these tips will help make your sailing Makarska an experience you will never forget!
