Lagoon 380

LAGOON 500 Luxury, speed and pleasure. This voluminous catamaran, offers an incredible amount of space and well above average performance… The 500 is truly impressive. From the unique flybridge steering station to the nifty rumble seat cockpit forward to the stunning interior finished in mukali wood, the Lagoon 500 leaves an indelible impression. Designers Marc Van Peteghem and Vincent Lauriot Prevost were given a challenging assignment by the Lagoon management team: Design a catamaran for world cruising that includes just about everything you’d want or need at home. That’s right, home; the design premise of the Lagoon 500 was to make the boat as much like a house as possible-albeit a house that can sail at double-digit speeds.

The 560, gave Lagoon a strong lead in terms of comfort, ergonomics and style, combining the world-renowned talents of the architectural firm VPLP and the design consultants Nauta. The version offers an additional choice of layouts which are unequaled for this size of catamaran: up to 5 fully independent cabins and the choice between a galley in the port hull or as a center island. The fly bridge is a veritable upper-deck salon (access via closable stairway). Its helm station provides perfect visibility and includes a magnificent spot for sunbathing at the rear.

A sleek and innovative design With her new visual identity, the 40 immediately stands out. While faithful to the image of Lagoon’s "DNA", a new style is born: an individual, streamlined and accomplished design depicts her large portholes and panoramic view. This creates a refined and high-performance unit, emphasised by the chamfer running from the bow to the stern. A new generation Lagoon, recognisable at first sight.

This new member of the Lagoon family has style and a strong personality. While keeping a family resemblance and retaining the main features of the latest generation of Lagoons, it shows us a new path: unhurried evolution, a new “organic” approach, in search of harmony between living space and man. Vertical glazing in the coachwood illuminates the saloon area, with stunning curved wood finishes. Enjoy the elegance and functionality with island double beds for the aft cabins and beds with side access for the forward cabins. Aft cabins enjoy a bathroom with separate shower. The all-new Lagoon 43 is a great example of the new breed of modern-day catamaran. This design builds on the success of the world’s biggest production cat brand, which in turn is part of the giant Beneteau group. It’s an ultra-modern cat with the clean, efficient lines of a modern European design — vertical bows, high freeboard and big picture hull windows.

The Dufour 48 has a contemporary design with voluminous hulls. The reversed and narrow bows cleave the water efficiently. The aft placed mast allows larger headsails, and the boom is more angled than in Dufour’s monohulls. The self-tacking jib (48 m2) combined with the mainsail (76 m2) creates a total sail area of 124 m2. She comes also with a huge flybridge with stairs access from both starboard and port sides.
