Lagoon 42| 2019

Antigua & Barbuda, Caribbean

This new member of the Lagoon family has style and a strong personality. While keeping a family resemblance and retaining the main features of the latest generation of Lagoons, it shows us a new path: unhurried evolution, a new “organic” approach, in search of harmony between living space and man. Vertical glazing in the coachwood illuminates the saloon area, with stunning curved wood finishes. Enjoy the elegance and functionality with island double beds for the aft cabins and beds with side access for the forward cabins. Aft cabins enjoy a bathroom with separate shower. The all-new Lagoon 42 is a great example of the new breed of modern-day catamaran. This design builds on the success of the world’s biggest production cat brand, which in turn is part of the giant Beneteau group. It’s an ultra-modern cat with the clean, efficient lines of a modern European design — vertical bows, high freeboard and big picture hull windows.

Sailing Holidays in St Martin

St Martin is one of the leeward and windward islands form the eastern border of the Caribbean Sea. Extending from Granada to Martinique, the lee got its name because British ships sailed from other colonies and often had to beat the time to reach them.

The northern islands of the archipelago are more leeward, which is why the British called the Leeward Islands. They start in Dominica, just above Martinique and gently arch to the northwest for just under 150 miles with Guadalupe, Antigua, and Nevis, St Kitts, St. Barth, Anguilla and many others. They end near St Martin 150 miles east of Puerto Rico. These waters are an ideal place to ride a boat rental and sailing St Martin and visit a variety of destinations along the leeward chain.

Regardless of which side of the island you visit, be it British, Dutch, French or independent, each one has unique characteristics that range from luxury and fashion to a quiet and isolated environment. Some mountainous islands are remains of ancient volcanoes, carpeted with lush jungles. Other islands are low, flat with incredible white sand beaches and coral reefs full of marine life as made to order for an unforgettable vacation on a catamaran charter rental in St Martin.

St. Martin Highlights

The rental of boats from St. Martin generally encompasses several key activities in addition to the pleasures of taking steps in the warm trade winds in one of the world’s main navigation areas. Many of the guests enjoy a rental that includes going ashore to enjoy shopping, dining out, dancing in the nightclubs, trying their luck in a casino and tourism in historical sites such as many forts scattered in the leeward islands. On other days, snorkeling, swimming, sunbathing, windsurfing and kayaking, walking on the beach and relaxing on the yacht with a refreshing cocktail facilitates the care of a very busy life. Sailing St Martin promises all these diverse experiences and some of the best cruises in the Caribbean.

St. Martin is one of the most popular sailing destinations in the Caribbean where you can experience short jumps to fabulous bays for diving and swimming, and the longest open-water passages to get your adrenaline. This Caribbean sailing vacation destination takes you to the warm waters of the north end of the Caribbean Leeward Islands, only when you are starting to feel a long and cold winter ahead.

The island of St Martin offers a wide variety of coastal landscapes like many different ecosystems. Around the island, it is distinguished from the shore until it reaches 50 meters deep, the rocky and sandy coasts, the swamp and mangrove areas, the thick seaweeds and the extensive coral reefs. If these areas disappeared, there would be a great ecological catastrophe that would cause the disappearance of a large number of marine organisms.

The sailing around St Martin is not easy. Rides will be rough, and many of the sails will belong.

Sailing St. Martin represents a diverse offering of offshore adventures. St Martin is the beautiful island of Anguilla, renowned for its white-sand beaches and unbeatable for its peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Enjoy lunch or dinner at one of the waterfront restaurants or a BBQ under the stars!

A single island and two countries! Between the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, Saint-Martin is half-French and half-Dutch. But this pocket island is more than that: it is a true cultural melting pot!

Taste the best of a Caribbean cuisine inspired by the cosmopolitan atmosphere of a chameleonic island, at the same time a symbol of luxury and wild paradise.

Saint-Martin is also popular for ecotourism. Starting with its natural reserve, to the northwest of the island, a protected marine area of more than 3,000 hectares where sea turtles, large dolphins and humpback whales live together. Five ecosystems are protected, including coral reefs. Just dive with glasses and tube to observe thousands of species of fish.
