About ADRIATIC DRAGON
ADRIATIC DRAGON is a 2019 Lagoon 77 sailing catamaran based in Split, Croatia, and refitted in 2024 with a new swim platform, teak decks, bow nets, ceilings and electronics. Her signature feature is the master suite, set over two levels forward, with a hydraulic hull door that folds down into a private teak balcony right on the water. With an 11-metre (36 ft) beam she offers generous space everywhere: a panoramic saloon, a forward cockpit lounge, wide trampolines and a large flybridge with bar and sun pads.
Up to eight guests stay in four en-suite cabins, cared for by a Croatian crew of four led by Captain Niksa Gjurasic, aboard since 2020. Chef Tihomir Krklec, a MasterChef Croatia finalist, specialises in Dalmatian cuisine. A jet ski, E-foil and Seabob F5 are included in the charter rate, and Starlink Wi-Fi keeps you connected even in the most remote bays.

Guest accommodation
ADRIATIC DRAGON sleeps eight guests in four en-suite cabins. The master suite occupies the forward area on two levels, with a walk-in wardrobe, a spacious bathroom and a fold-down hull balcony offering direct access to the sea. Two VIP double cabins and one twin cabin (convertible) complete the layout. All four cabins have their own bathroom with electric toilet, and the full air conditioning runs all night. Children are welcome aboard.

Born in Dubrovnik and raised beside a local marina, Niksa ("Niko") has been around boats since he could walk. He rowed competitively for six years with the Neptun Rowing Club, reaching the Croatian national team. With more than 36 years of experience across the Croatian Navy, the merchant navy and the yacht industry, he has sailed all the world’s oceans. A natural leader and an easy communicator with guests of all ages, he speaks English and Italian and has captained ADRIATIC DRAGON since 2020.

Tihomir grew up in Zagreb and spent 13 years in the art world as a graphic designer before reaching the final week of MasterChef Croatia. Since then he has opened restaurants, organised food festivals, filmed food TV shows and cooked privately on yachts and in private homes. Off season he consults for restaurants, develops seasonal menus and runs an art studio with his team. He loves photography and travel, which constantly feed his inspiration in the kitchen.

Born in Zagreb, Martina has lived in several parts of Croatia and fell in love with sailing the first time she stepped aboard a yacht. She brings a strong background in hospitality, tourism and design to her role. Known for her attention to detail and warm, personal service, she makes sure every moment aboard is perfect, from refreshing cocktails to the small touches that make guests feel at home.

Born in Germany, Matija grew up on the island of Cres, where he discovered sailing as a teenager. He studied agriculture, specialising in olive oil production and winemaking, but the sea won out. Sailing became his full-time career in 2017: he started as a skipper on smaller sailboats and worked his way up to larger yachts, including the well-known Velacarina, before joining ADRIATIC DRAGON as deckhand.

Chef Tihomir Krklec reached the final week of MasterChef Croatia before turning his passion for food into a career, opening restaurants, organising food festivals and cooking privately on yachts and in villas. Aboard ADRIATIC DRAGON he specialises in Dalmatian cuisine, using the freshest local ingredients, and adapts every menu to guests’ tastes and dietary needs, including kosher and special diets.
A typical week might bring Adriatic tuna tartare with goat cheese foam, homemade Istrian pasta with clams and wild asparagus, lobster and fish “buzara” with saffron, roasted sea bass or grilled octopus, finished with an olive oil and lemon cake with honey gelato or a fig and almond tart.

+ 13% VAT · + €15,000 APA
Rates are per week, plus all expenses under MYBA terms: Croatian VAT (13%), an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) of €15,000 (less for a smaller party) and the Croatian tourist tax of €1.33 per person per night. Charters run Saturday to Saturday from Split West Coast, close to Diocletian’s Palace; 5-day charters and 10- or 12-day charters are possible. One-way charters between Split and ACI Marina Dubrovnik are available on request for a €1,500 fee (waived if the following week is booked from Dubrovnik). Check-in 17:00, check-out 09:00; transfers from Split Airport can be arranged.
2027 rates on request. For reference, 2026 weekly rates were €47,000 until 30 May and from 19 September, €54,600 from 30 May to 27 June and 29 August to 19 September, and €60,530 from 27 June to 29 August. Availability on request.

What are the weekly charter rates?
The weekly rate is €47,000 from 19 September 2026, plus 13% Croatian VAT, a €15,000 APA and the Croatian tourist tax. In 2026 summer weeks ranged up to €60,530; 2027 rates are available on request.
Where does the charter start and end?
ADRIATIC DRAGON is based on Split West Coast, close to Diocletian’s Palace, with private boarding directly at the yacht. One-way charters to or from ACI Marina Dubrovnik are possible on request for a €1,500 fee.
Can we book a charter shorter than one week?
Charters normally run Saturday to Saturday, but 5-day charters are possible, and there is flexibility for 10- or 12-day charters. Please ask us for availability.

A professional crew of four: Captain Niksa Gjurasic, Chef Tihomir Krklec, Stewardess Martina Ivankovic and Deckhand Matija Jakic.
Which water toys are on board?
A Highfield tender with 100 HP Honda, a Sea-Doo jet ski, an E-foil and a Seabob F5 (all included in the rate), plus 2 SUPs, a kayak, wakeboard, water skis, towables, floating mats, snorkelling and fishing gear. Diving is rendezvous only.
