About SYLENE
Charter the 2022 Lagoon 77 Sylene on the Amalfi Coast. You can sail to Capri, Positano and Amalfi, or to Ischia and Procida. The crew knows the coast well.
SYLENE is a Lagoon Seventy 7, a sailing catamaran created to bring a new dimension to life at sea, where luxury feels seamless in everyday life aboard. Her spacious decks and living areas offer an experience unlike any other, from bright days on the flybridge to long, starlit evenings in the cockpit.
Inside, a large saloon with panoramic windows, a lounge bar and the galley up keep guests connected to the views. Up to ten guests stay in five en-suite cabins, including a master cabin with its own private terrace on the sea, looked after by a French crew of four. A generous collection of water toys, from an electric surfboard to SUPs, sea scooters and windsurf rigs, completes the experience.

Guest accommodation
A master cabin with a private terrace on the sea, a spacious en-suite bathroom, a large sofa and a walk-in dressing (bed 1.80 × 2.05 m), a spacious VIP double cabin aft starboard (1.70 × 2.05 m), a double cabin midship port (1.70 × 2.05 m), and two further double cabins on the port side that convert to twins (1.80 × 2.05 m aft and 1.70 × 2.05 m forward). Every cabin has its own en-suite bathroom with electric toilet, and the air conditioning runs all night.

French captain Grégory holds a Captain 500 unlimited licence for yachts and sailing yachts and is a Chief Engineer 750 kW as well as a maritime instructor. With more than 17 years of sailing in the Mediterranean and worldwide, including several transatlantic crossings, he combines expert seamanship with a strong focus on safety. Kind, cheerful and a true team player, he keeps harmony on board and guides guests to the best spots according to their wishes and the weather. A keen freediver and spearfisherman, he once joined an underwater expedition with former members of Commander Cousteau’s team. He speaks French, fluent English and basic Italian.

Joanna cooks with a real desire to make people happy, combining natural generosity with a calm, focused presence in the galley. Before life at sea she studied arts and entertainment and earned a Bachelor’s degree in photography, and that artistic eye shows in the colour and detail of every plate. She has cooked on several charter and private yachts, including S/Y Taj, M/Y Nirvana, S/Y Ciliam and M/Y Pumpkin. Her style blends Provençal warmth with the aromatic flavours of Southeast Asia, using fresh, seasonal produce. She holds STCW and HACCP and speaks French and English.

After a Master’s degree in finance and management in Paris, Jules traded office life for the ocean and has spent the last four seasons on high-performance Gunboats, charter catamarans and passenger ships. He holds a Captain 200 licence and a marine mechanic qualification (250 kW), so he is as useful in the engine room as on deck. A certified IKO kitesurf instructor who also dives and wing-foils, he loves driving the tender and coaching guests on watersports. Calm under pressure, he speaks French, English and Spanish.

Originally from Chamonix-Mont-Blanc in the French Alps, Madison is a former high-level athlete with a passion for skiing, climbing, horseback riding and spearfishing. Independent and curious, she has travelled widely on her own. After several years in hospitality she joined yachting as a deckhand and stewardess, combining service skills, attention to detail and her love of the sea. Discreet, attentive and caring, she creates a warm, elegant and relaxed atmosphere on board. She holds STCW and a deckhand certificate and speaks French, Spanish and English.
Chef Joanna Bellon
Dining aboard
Chef Joanna brings several seasons of charter and private yacht experience, along with a background in arts and photography that shows in every plate. Her cuisine blends the warmth of Provençal cooking with the bold, aromatic flavours of Southeast Asia, from refined French and Mediterranean dishes to health-conscious and authentic Asian menus.
She works with fresh, seasonal and local produce and tailors each menu to guests’ preferences and dietary needs, from freshly squeezed juices, Greek yogurt with wild honey and homemade granola at breakfast to elegant dinners on deck.

A one-week minimum applies; 5-day charters may be accepted on request, depending on the calendar. Pick-up is flexible in France, Italy or the Balearics, with a 48-hour turnaround. What are the weekly charter rates?
€60,000 per week in May and October, €65,000 in June and September and €74,000 in July and August, plus VAT and a 30% APA (MYBA terms).
Where does the charter start and end?
SYLENE cruises the Western Mediterranean, including Corsica, Sardinia, mainland Italy, Sicily and the Balearics, with flexible embarkation in France, Italy or the Balearics.
Can we book a charter shorter than one week?
The minimum is one week, but 5-day charters may be accepted on request, depending on the calendar.

A Highfield tender with a 100 HP outboard, an electric surfboard, 4 sea scooters, 4 paddleboards, 2 windsurf rigs, 2 kayaks, water skis, a wakeboard, a kneeboard, towables, snorkelling and fishing gear. Rendezvous diving can be arranged on request.
