Coming from the R&D department of the CATANA yard, the BALI 5.4 tempts you to the pleasure of sailing in Open Space. Outside the norms, the BALI 5.4 is simply an innovation: panoramic views, exceptional natural ventilation, a vast forward cockpit with removable tables and sunbathing area, standard or flybridge helm stations, sleek design and décor, huge interior and exterior living spaces, a level of self-sufficiency unique in its class for comfort at sea and unrivalled sea-keeping qualities! Not to mention the performance and safety you would expect from Catana.

The BALI 4.1 is characterized by a single cockpit / saloon area, entirely flush and unencumbered by bulkheads, accessible via an immense folding glass door on electric rams.  So in the blink of an eye you can switch from Cosy mode to Lounge mode, with a panoramic view over the sea… A forward cockpit with dining area as well as an immense sunbathing area in place of the traditional trampoline Extra living space with sunbathing area on the coachroof As with its big brothers, the BALI 4.5 Open Space and the BALI 4.3 Loft, the BALI 4.1 enjoys an extraordinary amount of natural light.  The large retractable windows bring an unequalled freshness into the saloon as well as a panoramic view.  The many hatches in the hulls ensure exceptional natural ventilation. Its technical equipment will satisfy the most exacting sailors, and then for the most exacting cook, forward is the latest generation fitted galley allowing you to cook with a sea view.

The Dufour 48 has a contemporary design with voluminous hulls. The reversed and narrow bows cleave the water efficiently. The aft placed mast allows larger headsails, and the boom is more angled than in Dufour’s monohulls. The self-tacking jib (48 m2) combined with the mainsail (76 m2) creates a total sail area of 124 m2. She comes also with a huge flybridge with stairs access from both starboard and port sides.

The BALI 4.8 Open Space brings together the best of the original characteristics that make up the DNA of BALI catamarans. In addition to the recognized innovations such as the rigid forward cockpit with lounge area and sunbathing area; the new platform linking the two sugarscoops with large bench seat and lockers; the large tilt and-turn door and sliding windows; and a panoramic relaxation area on the coachroof, the BALI 4.8 offers, as does the 5.4, new access to the forward cockpit by an interior door and cabins by panels opening onto the aft cockpit, and a 6 cabin / 6 bathroom version unheard of on a 48 footer. *Photos are from the Official Presentation
